Hello world!!

Sojust a few minutes before writting this I purchased a used iPhone 4 online...cause I haven't really learn my lesson yet lmao.

A while ago I bought an iPhone 2g aaand...it's battery is fucked now. It does charge and turns on but...only at that big battery screen, whenever it boots to iOS it stops charging which is great :)

No, I'm not complaining. Like really, I am not complaining because that's mum's money and not mine anyway, so...yeah fuck my mum :D

Sooo let's talk about it's software shit...

iPhone 4's latest flashable version of iOS is 7.1.2 but fuck that, that ain't fun. Let's talk about the fun versions of iOS, the pre iOS 7 versions :D

iOS 6 will always be my favourite version of iOS. And uhh n-n-no it's not because of the skeumorphism theme thingy uuuggghhh >:(

OKAY FINE IT IS BECAUSE OF THE SKEUMORPHISM THEME THNGY UUUGGHHH, YOU GOT ME >:(

But it looks pretty tho, right? Like how most of the apps look like IRL things like for example how the notes app looks like a notebook and iBooks looks like a bookshelf. Oh and talk about iBooks, fuck iBooks. Nobody uses iBooks. Despite being a nerd, I don't read books like ever in my life so that app could get the fuck outta everyone's springboard, thankyou :D

And oh let's talk about how usable is iOS 6 in 2024. It is still usable if you ask me - a retro tech nerd. But there are a few tweaks that you gotta do to make it usable in 2024 tho.

First you gotta have your iPhone jailbroken. Oh yeah, I know some of you'd say "android is better than IOS" because of this. I know I know, I am an android fangirl and a "fuck iOS" girl myself but I think jailbreaking iOSes is cool tho because again I am a tech nerd and doing that even with 0 knowledge still makes me look cool infront of people who don't know anything about tech :D

Where were we? Ahh yes, then you gotta go to cydia and install a few tweaks. They are: "Checkmate, Store!", "GSignInFix", "TubeFixer for iOS", "iFile" and "iFile Crash Fix". Go Google them yourself lul. These tweaks are for the old AppStore and the old Youtube app. Yeah remember that Youtube with the TV icon? Well I certainly do :D

Now, it's aboit the sim cards. You gotta have a sim card from a carrier that still support 3G cause uhh there's no 4G on the iPhone 4. Yes I know it's called iPhone 4 but sadly it doesn't support 4G :(

The final thing is the web and it's html5 thingy. One of the things I hate about iPhone is that every version of iOS comes with it's own web-kit. Like really? Propietary web-kit? Are you kidding? This means that whatever version of whatver browser you use, it will always be outdated because iOS 6's web-kit is like what? 12 years old now? Yeeeah...yikes. Sooo...that's one stupid thing. And don't you think about that browservice thing cause it doesn't work on mobile. I mean it works, the search bar shows up but it's technically just images so it doesn't work on mobile, specifically mobile devices with no OTG support to plug a physical keyboard in because it just couldn't call the on screen keyboard sooo...you're stuck here :(

But hey atleast you now have a soewhat working iPhone 4 in 2024 to show your friends how much of a fucking nerd you are...just like me :D
